PRESS: Chernogolovka can acquire Kellogg’s cookies business
MOSCOW, Dec 22 (PRIME) -- Russian sweet beverage producer Chernogolovka can acquire the Lyubyatovo cookies and ready breakfast brand of the U.S.’s Kellogg, Kommersant business daily reported citing sources on Thursday.
Kelloggs now owns three production facilities in Voronezh, Pskov and Vyazma.
In March, information appeared that Kellogg suspended shipments of its products to Russia, and local investment.
According to Kommersant’s sources, Kellogg has agreed to sell off its Russian business to a buyer that earlier bought the company’s plant in the Krasnodar Region. The facility now belongs to Chernogolovka.
